Monday 2/2 – 7th Grade (7*, 1*)
·         SWT 1/30 (please back-date)
·         Finish Compare/Contrast Guided Outline
Homework:  Complete “You Write It” packet and attach your article – due on Friday
This week for book project = finish packing your suitcase and write the essay introductory paragraph.  Project due next Thursday 2/12

Monday 2/2 – 8th Grade (2*, 3*, 4*)
·         SWT 2/2 (writing prompts inspired by Super Bowl commercials!)
·         Root of the Week, p. 86 of comp book
·         Multi-media Review Presentation
·         Final Video – Begin Constructed Response Idea Outline in Partners

Homework:  Independent Book Project due on Thursday, 2/5.  Book Projects are a hard deadline and are not accepted late.  This week = Type your Character and Mood/Theme panels.  Need something printed?  Send it to me by Wednesday.

 Tuesday 2/3 – 7th Grade (6*, 7*, 1*)
·         SWT 2/3
·         Root of the Week, p. 86
·         Multi-media Review Presentation
·         Finish essay outline – mini lesson on bringing an essay “full circle”
·         Begin compare/contrast essay (written in class)
Homework: Due this Friday = “You Write It” pre-writing packet and article (staple together)
Due next Thursday 2/12 = Independent Book Project.  This week = finish packing suitcase and write into to the paper (see all directions)

Tuesday 2/3 – 8th Grade (2*) and Wednesday 2/4 (3*, 4*)
·         SWT 2/3 and 2/4
·         The 2nd Atomic Bomb – Nagasaki and the end of WWII
·         Timeline Synthesis Constructed Response – partner brainstorm (intro and organization)

·         Share and Collect “You Write It” packets and articles
·         Final paragraphs of Compare/Contrast Essay
