8th Grade Field Trip Information for Tuesday 2/23

Team Dauntless – Field Trip Information

Dear Parents and Students,
On Tuesday, February 23rd, students from Team Dauntless will attend a field trip to the National Automobile Museum on Lake Street in Reno.  This field trip is part of the Decades Museum Exhibit Interdisciplinary Unit on the 20th Century that students are currently participating in.  Each student will complete a scavenger-hunt style packet while at the museum for credit in every core class.  Buses will leave Billinghurst at 10:15 AM, and students will be at the museum until 1:30 PM.  Students must pack their own lunch and we will eat at the museum.
Students must bring a pencil and a light folder to write on.  Students are required to stay with their Decade group and chaperone AT ALL TIMES.  Much like a library, museum behavior means walking feet and hushed voices.   All school and district rules apply while on the field trip (no gum, follow dress code, no cell phone use unless given permission, etc).

Looking forward to another great experience!
