Monday 6/8 – 7th Grade (1*)
·         All team – Square Set Timber Weight Competition
Homework:  Summer Reading Log due Monday, August 10th (first day back!)

Monday 6/8 – 8th Grade (2*, 3*, 4* crunch)
·         “After the Arrest” – excerpt from the film Anne Frank that depicts life in the Jewish Internment Camp and re-location to Auschwitz.
·         Hand back Anne Frank Unit Test
·         4* = Team End-Of-Year Slide Show (7th and 8th grade!)

Tuesday 6/9 – 7th Grade (6*, 7*, 1* crunch)
·         Finish Internet Scavenger Hunt (Watsons novel – Literary Allusions and 1960’s pop culture references)
1* Final = Comprehensive Exam (open book) on The Watsons Go to Birmingham; 1963 and film excerpt on the bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church (film title = Four Little Girls)
Homework:  Summer Reading Log due Monday, August 10th (first day back!)

Tuesday 6/9 – 8th Grade (4*) and Wednesday 6/10 (2*, 3*)
·         Final Reflective and Comprehensive Exam (students use composition notebooks from 7th and 8th grade as well as their portfolios)

Thursday 6/11 – 7th Grade (6*, 7*)
·         Comprehensive Exam (open book) on The Watsons Go to Birmingham; 1963 and film excerpt on the bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church (film title = Four Little Girls)

Friday 6/12 – 7th and 8th Grade (1* - 7*)
·         All classes are about 15 minutes long.  Finals handed back.
·          Bring a thin folder to school to collect papers.  Backpacks are not allowed at school.  Lockers may not be used.

·         End of Year Assembly then Early Release at 11:00 AM

If you lose it, you can create a new one on your computer or write one out. Happy reading!
