·         Root of the Week Study Guide #4 and new flashcards
·         Multi-Media Review Presentation
·         Finish Notes on Theme

 Homework:  Use flashcards and/or study guide #4 to study root definitions, word definitions and spelling.  Test = Friday 2/12
Read Scope p. 10-15 and complete “Synthesis” sheet (both sides).  Due on Friday 2/12

Monday 2/8 – 8th  Grade (2*, 3*, 4* crunch)
·         5 min SWT 2/8
·         Root of the Week Study Guide #4 and new flashcards
·         Multi-Media Review Presentation
·         Finish Bibliography card activity

Homework:  Bibliography Assignment (using Citation Machine to create 4 bibliography entries).  See directions sheet.  Due on Thursday 2/11
Use flashcards and/or study guide #4 to study root definitions, word definitions and spelling.  Test = Tuesday 2/16

Tuesday 2/9 – 8th Grade ( 4*)
·         Decades IDU work day.  Artifact 1 with cited paraphrase and bibliography entry due.  Work on Artifact #2.  See project calendar in your packet for due dates and crunches.


Tuesday 2/9 – 7th Grade (6*, 7*, 1*)
·         SWT 2/9 – Lottery
·         7* only = finish up last part of Notes on Theme in comp book
·         Short story “The Lottery” by Shirley Jackson

Homework:  Use flashcards and/or study guide #4 to study root definitions, word definitions and spelling.  Test = Friday 2/12

Read Scope p. 10-15 and complete “Synthesis” sheet (both sides).  Due on Friday 2/12

Wednesday 2/10 – 8th Grade (2*, 3*, 4*)

·         Open-Note, Open Resource Quiz – Plagiarism, Paraphrasing, Text Citations

·         Star of David introductory activity – WWII and Anne Frank unit

Homework:  Please check Infinite Campus this weekend and revise/complete/make-up assignments.  These are due Tues 2/16.  Academic Warning Notices go out to anyone earning a C or below on Wed 2/17, so this is your chance to get caught up if needed.
