Homework:  Read 25 min and fill out RJ week 3 – due on Friday 4/25

Monday, 4/21 – 8th Grade (2*)
·         Due to evacuation last Friday, 2nd period will have this class time in the lab to finish and print their informative essays (8th grade writing exam)


Tueday, 4/22 – 7th Grade (6*, 7*, 1* crunch)
·         Word of the Week, p. 23
·         Watsons

Homework:  Read 25 min and fill out RJ week3 – due on Friday 4/25

Tuesday, 4/22 and Wednesday 4/23 – 8th Grade (2*, 3*, 4*)
·         Word of the Week, p. 22 AND p. 23
·         Multi-media review presentations
·         Informative Essay – pencil edit; identify and highlight thesis and in-text citations; identify part 2 of prompt
·         “Just Because” draft in comp book and final draft

Homework:  Read 25 min and finish RJ week 3 (get signed!) – due Thursday 4/24 (2*, 3*) and Friday 4/25 (4*) only.
Finish final draft of “Just Because” poem  - due Thursday 4/24 (2*, 3*) and Friday 4/25 (4* only)

·         Collect RJ week 3 and “Just Because” poem final draft
·         Hand out and review RJ week 4
·         “3 Items” journal, p. 48 of comp book
·         First scene of play, “The Diary of Anne Frank”
