·         1* only = finish Tell-Tale Heart Discussion Questions

Homework: Complete Poetry Analysis packet – due on Friday 10/2

Reminder… all make-up work for 1^st grading quarter is due Friday 10/2

·         Review composition notebook for 1^st quarter (students have 1 week to complete anything that may be missing or incomplete)

·         Plot Diagram Assessment for “Tell-Tale Heart” in groups of 3

Homework:  Due on Friday = Poetry Analysis Packet and and Late Work for 1^st Quarter

                        Due Wed 10/7 = 1^st Quarter Composition Notebook Scored in Class

Wednesday 9/30 – 8^th Grade (2*, 3*, 4*)

·         Hand out t-shirt re-order forms

·         Glue in “Tone” notes – comp book

·         Begin Poetry Analysis Essay Outline

Homework:  Due tomorrow = Poetry Analysis Packet

                       Due by Friday = Late Work for 1^st Quarter

                       Due by Friday 10/9 = t-shirt/sweatshirt re-order form and money

Thursday 10/1 – 8^th Grade (2*, 3*, 4*)

·         Review Composition Notebook for 1^st Quarter (students have 4 days to complete any missing or incomplete assignments before we score the comp books)

·         Partner then Whole-Class review of Poetry Analysis Homework (then turn in)

·         Hand out and review “Synthesis” Activity with attached Essay Prompt

·         Scope introductory video on sugar in the American diet

Homework:  Read October Scope pages 22-28, then complete “Synthesis” activity and essay (essay prompt on the back side of the Synthesis activity).  Due Friday 10/9

Re-ordering a team t-shirt or sweatshirt?  Money and order form due by Friday 10/9
