What’s Due for 7th Graders?
Monday 11/14 – Ice Skating has been rescheduled for Monday, January 25th
Tuesday 11/15 – Composition Notebooks Scored (6* only).  Please note, students reviewed comp book requirements for 2nd quarter, then had one week to complete any missing or incomplete assignment before scoring.
Wednesday 11/16 – Composition Notebooks Scored (7*, 1*)
Thursday 11/17 – Reader’s Journal #3 – Must be verified and signed by a parent.

7th Grade Homework:  Independent novel must be finished by the end of winter break.  The extra credit Reader’s Journal can be completed on your independent novel or a new book if you’ve already finished your book for the upcoming book project.
Extra Credit Reader’s Journal due Tuesday 1/12 and will NOT be accepted for late credit.

·        Poetry Analysis Essay on Robert Frost’s poem (if you turned it in, I have it)
·        Shape Poem (if you turned it in, I have it)
·        Veteran’s Day Diamante (in your SWT section for 11/10 or 11/12 – 7 lines)
·        So Much Depends Upon (in your Notes & Activities Section – 8 lines)
·        Object Poem (free verse – need your own title)
·        Street Music Poem (free verse – need your own title)
·        The Blues (4 stanzas, 6 lines each – need your own title)
·        List Poem (free verse – need your own title)
·        Family Metaphor (rough draft stapled in – need your own title)
